Douglas County Receives Second Chance Act Grant

In September 2011, Douglas County, Nebraska was awarded a FY 2011 Second Chance Act Adult Offender Reentry Program grant. Douglas County proposes to build on existing resources, including a base of collaborative community partners and leaders in the Douglas County Reentry Initiatives Council, to continue to develop a reentry strategic plan to serve long-term goals of increasing public safety and reducing recidivism.
